At this time, we are offering a special offer to alleviate the shortage of lifeguards this summer. Anyone who refers a friend gets free lifeguard training. Between now and March 1, 2023, if you have a friend register and pay our regular course fee, and on the same day you register for the very same course that you referred your friend to take, you need only enter FREE as the discount code at checkout. It will reduce the price to zero for the course you are taking. Please remember that once you register, you need to follow up with an email to alalifeguard@aol.com, to let us know who registered with us on that day and their name. The only restrictions are that the person you refer must have registered on the same day you did. In addition, they need to pay our regular price, but could still take advantage of the grant to reduce their training fees by $100.

The American Lifeguard Association is one of the top associations specializing in the training and certifying of candidates in the American aquatics and safety training profession, which has trained over 250,000 individuals worldwide. Our program’s skills reflect ECC science and findings from the United States Lifeguard Standards Coalition Report. The American Lifeguard Association has been listed over the years with the CDC Healthy Swimming website. In addition, the U.S. Department of Labor and the General Service Administration (GSA) has determined that the American Lifeguard Association offers lifeguard certification programs similar to those provided by the American Red Cross.
The certification program is done through an instructor-led video training program with online materials and a final online exam that lets you get certified right away as an individual or in a small group. The training can be accomplished on your own and at your own pace. Upon completing the program, you will be issued a two-year national certification in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
